— What are the main mistakes in the fight against herpes?
— It is not uncommon for people to self-infect themselves while washing, applying make-up (the transfer of infection from the mucous membrane of the lips to the mucous membrane of the eyes is especially dangerous). You can also get infected during kissing and sexual contact. Therefore, during the period of activation of herpes simplex (with an uncomplicated form, it lasts up to 10 days), there should be a taboo on kissing and unprotected sex. The herpes virus can be transmitted through shared dishes, so a person with blisters should eat and drink from individual plates and cups.
