A fruit bath tones well, adds to the mood, and is also good for the skin – fruit acids nourish it, stimulate blood circulation in small capillaries, and some fruit substances prevent the development of cellulite.

 

– Fruit baths are considered therapeutic and rejuvenating.  And how do they actually affect our body?

 

– Natural components without artificial aromas and preservatives have a very positive effect on the skin, restoring its tone and youth, – explains Zhana Prykhodko, a doctor of cosmetology and dermatology of the highest category.

 

– What fruits can be added to baths and how?

 

– Any fruits and berries are suitable for this.  For example, in the cold season, you can use bananas, kiwi and citrus fruits.

To prepare a banana bath, take a kilogram of bananas and mash them into puree.  Add a little olive oil and dissolve the mixture in a warm bath.  After such a bath, the skin will become soft, fragrant and radiant.

Citrus baths are also very good.  To do this, you need to squeeze the juice from three oranges, and grate their peel on a fine grater.  Mix, add a little olive or linseed oil and pour into a warm bath.  You can add a decoction of needles to orange juice (pour a handful of needles with a liter of boiling water, cool, strain) – this will relieve blood vessel spasms.

Or this recipe for an orange bath: grind a kilogram of oranges together with the peel in a mixer, pour a liter of boiling water over the mass and let it infuse.

You can also use tangerines, lemons, grapefruits.  For example, the active substances of grapefruit also perfectly fight the manifestations of cellulite, tighten the skin, and shape the silhouette.  By the way, you can make foot baths from the dried skin of this fruit – they soften the rough skin on the heels, making them tender.  By the way, herbal baths are quite effective.  Baths with a decoction of nettle, chamomile, hops, sage, horsetail, and horsetail are suitable for skin that is losing its tone.  Brew 200-250 grams of dry grass in three liters of water, let it infuse a little in the bath.

 

– How often can you take such baths?

 

– Such baths have a certain therapeutic effect, so they should be taken no more than once a week.  Before the procedure, take a warm shower to clean the skin and open the pores – so it can absorb more useful substances.  The time of taking the bath itself is 20 minutes, the water temperature should be 36-39 degrees.

After a fruit bath, you do not need to use creams or lotions – the skin is already saturated with useful substances.  You just need to wash your body with warm water without soap or gel and pat dry with a towel.  Fruit baths have a pronounced relaxation effect, so it is better to take them before going to bed or when you are not in a hurry.
