To do this, you will need ordinary products – kefir, honey, egg, and salt.
“Feed your hair” In winter, hair “gets tired” – it becomes dull, weak, does not shine, breaks, falls out…
After all, it is also affected by temperature changes, dry indoor air, the fact that you have to constantly wear hats. Therefore, you need to help your hair survive this time of year. To do this, you will need ordinary products – kefir, honey, egg, even salt, advises Zhanna Prikhodko, a dermatologist-cosmetologist of the highest category.
– You can make masks from them at home that will nourish and strengthen your hair.
For example, a kefir mask is very easy to prepare and use. It is done once a week before washing your hair. Take a glass of kefir and an egg yolk, beat well and apply to your hair. After 10 minutes, rinse your hair with warm water and wash with shampoo. Or you can take kefir or sour milk separately, wet your hair and put on a plastic cap, cover it with a towel on top. Keep this mask for 15-20 minutes, then wash it off with warm water and shampoo. But even regular salt will help strengthen your hair: every time after washing your hair, take a pinch of salt and rub it into your scalp. Rinse with water.
– Many nourishing masks are made with eggs. What do you think?
– An egg contains vitamin A, which is essential for hair, as well as cholesterol and lecithin, which nourish it, and other biologically active substances. The simplest mask is to beat two raw yolks and apply to your hair, put on a plastic cap and wrap it with a towel. It can be kept on for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The mask can be, so to speak, modernized by adding a tablespoon of olive or castor oil and a little cognac. And it wouldn’t hurt to add the juice of half a lemon. After such a balm, the hair should be thoroughly rinsed with warm water, apply shampoo and rinse. Or for one egg, take two tablespoons of castor oil, one teaspoon of vinegar, one teaspoon of glycerin. The mixture should be beaten well and rubbed into the hair roots. Rinse after 10 minutes. “Nourish your hair” And how do you use honey? A nourishing mask with honey is prepared as follows: mix one egg yolk and one tablespoon each of honey, cognac, burdock and olive oil. Keep for 30 minutes. You can add aloe leaves ground in a meat grinder to the preliminary mixture. Then the mask can be kept for up to an hour.
Another mask made with aloe is the following: take a teaspoon of aloe juice, castor oil and honey, apply to the hair along the entire length, and wash off in half an hour. Or: you can add lemon juice to honey (two teaspoons of juice for four tablespoons of honey) and apply to the hair. “Feed your hair”
Some women refuse to wear hats, saying that they make their hair greasy.
On the contrary, a hat is a must, because low temperatures make hair lose its shine and become brittle. But when choosing a hat, pay attention to whether it “breathes” – then your hair will get less oily and will not split. And in winter, you also need to “feed” your hair properly. It needs vitamin A (carrots, beets, pumpkin, eggs), fats (fish), proteins (mushrooms, lean meat, poultry, cheese), B vitamins (greens, cereals). But fatty foods and sweets should be minimized – carbohydrates increase hair greasiness.
